So you want to save the Universe, eh? Maybe you always thought you were special. Maybe, very deep down, you believed you were one of the Chosen Few. Maybe you felt you shouldn't have had to pay to get into that Star Trek convention because you were one of the characters who were in it. Whatever the reason, here are some pointers that could get you well on your way to achieving your intergalactic purpose in life and have one of the more mortal humans to make a cartoon about you.

1. Dress in black. No colors. Why? Space is black. Black looks slimming. Black symbolizes neutrality. Black is what your shadow is. Black makes you invisible come nightfall. Wear it. It works.

2. Wear rings and necklaces. Silver/peuter is preferable. It looks less tacky than gold. Wear symbols: crosses, stars, pentagrams, pyramids, or what have you. Rhinestones are optional. You might prefer to wear skulls and bones, but that doesn't quite represent the universe, does it? And the title of this hub is not "How to Become a Pirate."

3. Meditate. Be like Luke Skywalker under Obi Wan Kenowbi. Feel the force inside you, around you, through you. Clear your head, open your mind. Let all the universe's energies inside. Rejuvenate all your chakras, feel each one pulsating and vibrating. No, this won't give you the ability to move objects with only your thoughts. That's an entirely different hub.

For those of you too young to remember/care about the first 3 Star Wars movies, think about The Karate Kid. Wax on, wax off. Through calmness and serenity will you find your ultimate source of power.

4. Get into numerology. Find out the ancient meanings to numbers. This'll add much more meaning to your day to day activities. A basic list of number meanings is this:

1. Individual. Aggressor. Yang.
2. Balance. Union. Receptive. Yin.
3. Communication/interaction. Neutrality.
4. Creation.
5. Action. Restlessness.
6. Reaction/flux. Responsibility.
7. Thought/consciousness.
8. Power/sacrifice.
9. Highest level of change.

So think of how old you are, what day you were born, what number apartment/street you live on, and what number buses you come across too.

You can also look up the meanings of letters.

http://www.numberquest.com/knowledge_letter_meaning.php

That way, you'll be able to find meaning in every license plate you come across.

As well, you can also find out the meanings of your name:

and of objects you come across:

You can analyze your dreams as well. You can find great meaning in doing this. Which will in turn align yourself to the forces of the Universe.

5. Stay lighthearted. Try not to produce any negative emotions, because that won't align you with the true force of the Universe, which is love. So smile a lot, laugh a lot, be considerate, do people many a favor, and you'll start a ripple effect that will outlast any negative circumstances.

Funny things to watch:

1. Godcast: God makes a podcast (on Youtube)

2. Houseguest (an old 90's film with Sinbad and Phil Hartman)

3. The IT Crowd (British TV sitcom about an IT helpdesk)

4. Beverly Hills Cop movies

5. Despicable Me

(but those are just my preferences..you budding superheroes can find your own)

6. Become a vegan/vegetarian. You know how this movie once said "There's gold in them there hills"? Well, there's bad karma in them there meat, so cut it out of your diet post haste. Especially if you want to attract positive energies. Maybe get rid of the wheat too. That can cause anxieties as well-see Dangerous Grains, by James Braly:

http://www.amazon.ca/Dangerous-Grains-James-Braly/dp/1583331298

Sample menu for a beginning vegetarian/vegan:

Breakfast: plateful of fruit: pineapple, canteloupe, grapes, mango, pears, strawberries, blueberries, etc

OR

a fruit/veggie smoothie

Lunch: baked potato with broccoli and cheese

Dinner: mushroom tortellini with sweet basil tomato sauce

Snacks: carrot sticks, celery sticks, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, water, lemonade

Note: this is, by the way, a great way to get acne free too, if you have that condition.

Extra Note: Eat chocolate and other junk food sparingly, if possible. Sugar can mess with your mind too-irrational behaviors triggered by sugar is not often talked about, but it's there all the same.

Follow these instructions and pretty soon, you'll find yourself being able to control the weather, heal your friends, attract beneficial circumstances, and be popular amongst all your peers. Of course, your parents might lift an eyebrow. But then, who cares, right? Superheroes don't have to worry about such menial matters.
